Impact Stories: Meet Geraldine
Answering the call to serve one’s country is among the highest forms of selflessness, requiring sacrifice, commitment, and resilience. Women who enter military service deserve special recognition for the strength it takes to answer that call, create a career in a male-dominated field, and reestablish stability after the military.
Geraldine, a U.S. Navy veteran who dedicated 14 years to our country, is one of many veterans whose resilience continues long after her time in uniform.

Before Adjoin, Valeria shared her experiences with depression, challenges with English, how easily overwhelmed she can feel when starting something new, and her need for clear and direct communication when following directions. Without consistent, individualized support, these needs often limited Valeria’s confidence and willingness to engage, leaving her quiet and hesitant to pursue new experiences.
Through Adjoin’s relationship-centered approach, Valeria found an environment where her needs were understood and her interests encouraged.

The Butterfly Club is a client assistance fund fueled by voluntary team member donations. This giving initiative was established over 20 years ago to provide flexible and timely financial support to current Adjoin clients with unique needs and circumstances that other resources are unable to assist with.
