Advocacy

We are engaged at all levels within the systems we serve in advocating for people and believe leadership is not just an internal responsibility, but an external one as well. Adjoin actively advocates at local, state, and federal levels for the civil rights and inclusion of people. We strongly speak out for an increase in resources and policy changes needed to give people the foundation to belong in their community.

Meeting with Legislators

We join with Legislators and high-level officials to speak on major public policy, advancement and funding impacting the lives of people served. We actively participate in associations, networks and state and federal level committees to ensure the needs of the people served are heard and considered in decisions being made at all levels.

Including people in the
conversation

We believe people are more impactful advocating for themselves and work to create avenues for them to tell leaders what is needed for them to be successful in belonging in their communities.

Involved in grassroots activists

We actively engage in local associations, networks and committees and often take the lead in champion campaigns to promote inclusion of people in their communities, counties and regions. We create paths for people to mobilize family, friends, and other community members to speak out on critical causes, in person or online.
